On Wednesday morning we went to pickup the Campers from the Church to Closter Plaza. It was a fun ride to the Plaza with the girl Campers. I had fun on the way and chit chatted with them. The Campers were going to the Plaza to watch the movie " Life of Pets." Some also had an opportunity to attend a spin cycling class at Cycle Bar on Closter Plaza. This was an additional activity for Campers over 14. The Campers enjoyed the movie and spin class and were conversing and speaking about it afterwards. The Campers paid attention to the prices of the movie tickets, food, drinks and popcorn. All of them realized that it was an expensive place to buy treats and they decided to eat outside the theatre. After the movie, the Campers went for lunch and shopping. It was intresting to see the choices they made for lunch and shopping. Some went for Starbucks, some for Whole Foods and some for Chipotle. After lunch and free hang out time, we drove back to the Church. There was a lot of construction going around Closter, and I had Tommy in my car who just got his learner's permit. I asked him if he knew the way around the construction, and he said yes. I was very proud of this young man as he gave me instructions to go around the construction without delay. Knowing the directions is one good skill to have, especially when you are a new driver. It was a fun trip as the kids enjoyed it and learned to decide between choices available for food in the movie theatre, shopping and eating while spending their money wisely.
