Opening Prayer

Father God help us to be more available to communicate with our loved ones. To reach out, check in and see how they are doing. Whether on a text, phone call or letter help us remain in contact in Jesus name. Amen

Prayer & Reflection

Reflection:

When was the last time you wrote a postcard and sent it a loved one? When did you pen a letter to a dear school or college friend? Perhaps you are like Paul who wrote letters to the Church all the time!

Sometimes imprisoned, in chains or in severe pain her persevered to communicate to the communities he loved, served and was connected too. Yet, if you are like me, whilst you are on vacation somehow we still forget to send the postcards, to collect the stamps or send the letter! I wish I was more like Paul!

To send our love, greetings and messages to our loved ones is now more commonly done via text, phone call or email. We build a shorter dialogue, but across multiple platforms and sometimes the message can get lost and our relationships become more and more distant.

“Harmony is as refreshing as the dew from Mount Hermon that falls on the mountains of Zion. And there the Lord has pronounced his blessing, even life everlasting.”

Yet, God wants us to remain in contact, more in community and closer to him and with one another. This is so we can grow in our faith, fellowship and spiritual, mental, social and physical well-being as one. The Body of Christ. Ready for the Bridegroom Jesus Christ.

Let us today be intentional towards our friends, family and loved ones whilst we are here on this earth. Let us not be shy in saying hi, being constant and reliable to those we care about. God loves us with perfect love that casts out all fear.

A ferocious love that sets us free from death and denial, into a an eternal life of promises and providence. Let us share these Gospel promises and peace with each other in Jesus name. Amen

Father we thank you and Praise you in Jesus name. We love you, we seek you and we need you today, forever and always. We seek you first and forever as we pursue your righteousness, grace and mercy. Be with us all this day, today and forever in Jesus name. Amen
