Free & Fit Advent Challenge Day 15- Proverbial Prayers & Planks - Advent Devotions from Proverbs with a Word, Proverb & Exercise Everyday - Sunday 12/15/2024
The word for today on December 15th, our Eight Year anniversary 🎉in the US, is Respond - how do you respond to Gods Love? Let us be glad and rejoice in Gods Love today, we have a hedge of protection around us and a promise of eternal worth through Jesus Christ our Lord.
We must fix our gaze heavenward, remain steadfast to the call and seek first the Kingdom
of Heaven in all we do.
“I will not die, but live, And declare the works and recount the illustrious acts of the Lord.”
Psalms 118:17 AMP
Today let us remain confident in the trial and the change by remaining true to Gods call to pick up our cross and follow him! The Saviour of the World!
Today’s Proverb is Proverbs 15 verse One: A gentle answer deflects anger, but harsh words stir up wrath."
In the Amplified it translates as: “A soft and gentle and thoughtful answer turns away wrath, But harsh and painful and careless words stir up anger. [Prov 25:15]”
Proverbs 15:1 AMP
Today’s Movement is Bicycle Crunches - Core exercise to target obliques. This also helps your core and can help tone your tummy.

Reflection & Prayer:
When Jesus went to the Cross the Disciples and his followers could not perceive what was about to happen or to understand the true depths by which the tables would be turned. That death would be defeated, that life would be formed and new creation of eternal hope would be born, but that is exactly what happened at Calvary.
The good news is that the depths of Gods love did not stop at the Resurrection. God keeps resurrecting everyday. Yes everyday a Sinner is being Saved, a persons Despair is turned into Delight and Jesus is again the new hope for all of humanity.
Perhaps you have a favorite moment, movie or memory of Christmases past which doesn’t involve Joe Pesci getting a blow torch exposed to his head or a hand burnt by a burning door handle. Whatever you do this Christmas, you may resonate with the difference between the characteristics of some of the people in the story of your Christmas memoirs.
Some will be good, like the next door neighbour who turned out to be a good guy after all in Home Alone, and some will be bad like Marv & Harry who end up getting sent away to prison at Christmas time.
When Joseph and Mary are greeted by the Angel Gabrielle and throughout the Bible they are met with the promise of safety and security from the phrase which is mentioned 365 times in the Bible “Do not be afraid.”
“Do Not be Afraid”
When we reflect on Christmas we will undoubtedly have mixed emotions some good and bad memories, but whats important is how we are remembered and who we remember at Christmas time. Perhaps it’s a lost loved one, a childhood home or favorite Christmas Carol. Whatever you remember this Christmas. Always remember there is Hope in the Good, there is Joy on the other side of the Bad and that Light can come into the Darkest parts of our Christmas memories.
“I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people.”
As God works through the conceptual time of Koiros it means that he is constantly working as the Way-maker to make a new way, everyday where there seems no way and Jesus, again, is the Only Way. Jesus is the Alpha and the Omega. Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life and Jesus is our Savior again today in Jesus name. Amen
Let us Pray…
Dear Lord we thank you for the Cross and the Resurrection. Please help us to see the world through your eternal eyes and that today you are saving us again and again in Jesus name. Amen
“So it is good to wait quietly for salvation from the Lord.”
Lamentations 3:26 NLT
