Today’s Word is Hope - Jesus is the Hope for all Humanity! Do not be mistaken this is not a fantasy, a movie or a live performance this is the Son of Man coming down from Heaven to judge the Living and the Quick. He will be back, we will be at his mercy and every knee and every person shall bow. How will you respond?
If Christ was here this Christmas at our Church would it be a normal Sunday Service? Would we just come to Church, Sing Praise, Hear Gods Word and Pray? Or would we be challenged to a higher account? To a higher regard and a higher place. Eternity beckons those whom God has called his own, but will we recognize the sound of his voice? Will we will soon be with our Father in heaven, sat in our heavenly homes and at peace as one with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Therefore there is now no condemnation [no guilty verdict, no punishment] for those who are in Christ Jesus [who believe in Him as personal Lord and Savior]. For the law of the Spirit of life [which is] in Christ Jesus [the law of our new being] has set you free from the law of sin and of death.
Romans 8:1-2
Today’s Proverb is Proverbs Twenty Nine Verse Two-“When the righteous thrive, the people rejoice; when the wicked rule, the people groan.”

When we hear messages of being “overcomers” and “more than conquerors” we may feel a disconnect. Perhaps we feel we are unworthy of this title or perhaps we feel that is not our reality of life. The concept of success in human terms can become very diluted in today’s secular society, fallen world and post Christian reality.
The world we now see may not offer us the hope that we can overcome difficulty and conquering what lies ahead. However, we believe in a God that Saves, that reconciles all wrongs and can raise our expectations even in the most uncertain circumstances. Yes, our God is the Lord of the Heavens and the Earth, the Maker of the Stars in the Sky and the Humans on the Ground. We believe in the unseen, unbelievable and awe inspiring creator of the universe.
Therefore, we must not reach for a spirit of fear, cowardice or timidity, but we must be solely reliant upon Gods Devine Love, Almighty Power and hold to a strong Self Discipline of standing on Gods word. When we trust, seek and pray to God we can overcome the everyday obstacles we face with confidence, assurances and scriptures from heaven which promise us radical love, healing and hope for all humanity. If we trust in other things, if we get distracted or deterred in our faith we will become disillusioned and depart from Gods promises. We must not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. We must stand for the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Today as we embrace the future let us not be downtrodden by the news, media or current events and let’s instead fix our eyes on the reason for which we have hope for the future. Lets us pray unswervingly for Gods radiance, truth, justice and mercy to prevail in our lives daily, always seeking hope and in all moments seeking Christ in Jesus name. Amen

Father please go before us, behind us and with everywhere, always and in all circumstances comforting, restoring and re-arranging our thoughts and desires to follow you in Jesus name. Amen
