Today’s word is Stewardship!
Today’s move is the Leg Cycles!
Today’s verse is Isaiah 5:16!
“But the Lord of hosts will be exalted in justice, And God, the Holy One, will show Himself holy in righteousness [through His righteous judgments].”

Prayer & Reflection:
In today’s passage from Isaiah we see that the people of Judah have become obsessed with following their own way and that the wrath of God is upon them. That what they claim to be light is darkness and what they claim to be sweet is bitter. We all perhaps can relate to this. Fulfilling our own self served prophecy by believing that what we desire is good and decent, but yet we deceive ourselves and what is in us is not healthy.
We have to seek first the Kingdom of God and follow only His ways. To do this we must test and approve what is the perfect will of God. For example, it is not necessarily Gods will to see Clemson win the college football championship, for Queens Park Rangers to win promotion to the Premier League or for Mark Draper to win Wimbledon. Yet. I still desire these things to happen. God would rather I place my trust not in falls idols and follow him. What are your idols?
Perhaps as we seek God this year we can find space to replace our idols with more of reading his word, listening to worship songs and allowing space to meditate and study his law and the prophets. We too can become good stewards of the time we have been given to act, love and love righteously.
Prayer:
Father God please go before us, behind us and with us in and through your Holy Spirit lead us not into temptation and deliver us from evil. Please cleanse us, purify us, forgive us and transform us into your likeness in Jesus name. Amen
