Today’s word is Joy!
Today’s move is the Leg Circles!
Today’s verse is Isaiah 9:6!
“For to us a Child shall be born, to us a Son shall be given; And the government shall be upon His shoulder, And His name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. [Is 25:1; 40:9-11; Matt 28:18; Luke 2:11]”

Prayer & Reflection: As a Pastor and Coach (amongst other things!) I often find myself wearing different hats. As a result, when I am doing certain things I like to compartmentalize my roles. I do this by associating myself as a specific title so as to know who I am when I am speaking to certain people. When I speak with my coaching clients I go by Coach TJ, when I am a Pastor I go by Pastor Tim and it helps me to know who I am when I am speaking to the person I am interacting with so as to know how to respond and what context we have met in!
In today’s verse we learn of some of the different titles Jesus has! He is our Messiah, Lord of Lords, King of Kings, Great Redeemer, Rabbi, High Priest, Teacher, Wonderful Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father and Prince of Peace! This is just to name a few, but imagine all the different jobs and titles we have! We think we are just, but imagine being in Gods shoes!
It reminds me of the scene in Bruce Almighty when Jim Carey is attempting to answer all the prayers of the people in the world and changes the methodology of how to answer from post it notes to emails and is completely overwhelmed by all the requests. The thing is if we were to try and prevail with all the worries in the world we would inevitably fail. However with our Wonderful Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father and Prince of Peace all things are possible! Let us always turn to God in our time of need!
Prayer….
Father God help us not to take away our energy and attention from you, help us always to seek your face and to turn to you in our time of need. Be with us today, now, forever and always in Jesus name. Amen
