Free & Fit - Insights from Isaiah - Daily Decisions & Devotions
Today’s word is Trust!
Today’s move is Wall Sits & Arm Raises!
Today’s verse is Isaiah 26:3!
““You will keep in perfect and constant peace the one whose mind is steadfast [that is, committed and focused on You—in both inclination and character], Because he trusts and takes refuge in You [with hope and confident expectation].”
Isaiah 26:3 AMP
Prayer & Reflection: At Pentecost we celebrate the Holy Spirit coming upon the people bringing anointing and power from God on High. The same power that rose Christ from grave is alive and inside of us through the power and anointing of the Holy Spirit. In Ephesians 1:19-20 It teaches us that we have access to this same power “and [so that you will begin to know] what the immeasurable and unlimited and surpassing greatness of His [active, spiritual] power is in us who believe. These are in accordance with the working of His mighty strength which He produced in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His own right hand in the heavenly places,” Ephesians 1:19-20 AMP. This was so that we could also be raised to life with Christ who saves both us who are alive and dead, we are set free from sin and death and seated at the right hand of the Father.
The Bible teaches us that through the Baptism of the Holy Spirit we are set apart, set free and sanctified as we read in today’s verse. In 1 Corinthians 12:13 it explains this to us “For by one [Holy] Spirit we were all baptized into one body, [spiritually transformed—united together] whether Jews or Greeks (Gentiles), slaves or free, and we were all made to drink of one [Holy] Spirit [since the same Holy Spirit fills each life].” 1 Corinthians 12:13 AMP. So today we celebrate the Holy Spirit anointing us all as believers, whether Jew or Greek, as one Body of Christ United to Preach the Gospel.
Therefore, let us today put behind us the misdeeds of the Body which may seek for us to qualify our salvation, but instead we are saved by Gods grace and sanctified in Christ Jesus our Lord. Thank God today that we are saved by his great love for us in Jesus name. Amen
Let us Pray…
Come Holy Spirit! Father send your Holy Spirit upon us to descend upon on us like a Dove, help us to sour on wings like Eagles and to walk through even the Darkest Valley for Christ Jesus has won the Victory on the Cross and today Father we celebrate the Holy Spirit coming upon us today afresh in new anointing and powerful ways in Jesus name. Amen
