““Comfort, O comfort My people,” says your God.”

Prayer & Reflection:
Today we may find it a little more difficult to get into a rhythm and routine than normal. Perhaps your temperature dropped like here in North Carolina by 30 degrees, or maybe you woke up late and missed the start of an important meeting you had scheduled or even more difficult to believe maybe your soccer team got knocked out by a Championship team and you can’t believe that the Kansas City Chiefs losing got more press than your defeat going out of the FA Cup. Either way, if your anywhere where there is noise, sounds or distractions taking you away from your original plan you are not alone. God is here and ready to help comfort you in the midst of uncertainty.
“A voice of one is calling out, “Clear the way for the Lord in the wilderness [remove the obstacles]; Make straight and smooth in the desert a highway for our God. [Mark 1:3]”

February is a difficult month and often can be a bit of an anticlimax. The expectations of the New Year have warn off, the New Year’s resolutions have been defeated and the old habits have started to set back in. It’s time to make a difference, a difficult and perhaps a deliberate decision to change your perspective and purpose for the year ahead. I want to tell you that all is not lost on February 11th 2025. We have another new day, breath in your lungs and space to see, breathe and experience the world.
“Every valley shall be raised, And every mountain and hill be made low; And let the rough ground become a plain, And the rugged places a broad valley. “And the glory and majesty and splendor of the Lord will be revealed, And all humanity shall see it together; For the mouth of the Lord has spoken it.” [Luke 3:5, 6]”

We all have to make changes in order to get better outcomes, to challenge the norms and to change the narrative in our lives. Today we have the opportunity to build a new beginning as it’s again another new day, new start and new opportunity for Hope! The Holy Spirit is alive and inside of you offering you fresh space to breathe, believe and begin a new story for your life!
“The grass withers, the flower fades, But the word of our God stands forever. [James 1:10, 11; 1 Pet 1:24, 25]”

Let’s start again today a new beginning. If you’re with me write down your confusion, write down your challenge and then next to it write down Gods perspective, promises and purposes for your life! I promise he will make it all seem so much easier than it already feels like today!
Let’s Pray together…
Father God thank you that your promises stand forever and are yes and amen in Jesus name. Help us today, forever and always to follow you, pursue your perspective and believe again that you will make a way for us in the wilderness in Jesus name. Amen!
