Today’s word is Justice!
Today’s move is Leg Circles!
Today’s verse is Isaiah 42:1!
“Behold, My Servant, whom I uphold; My Chosen One in whom My soul delights. I have put My Spirit upon Him; He will bring forth justice to the nations. [Matt 3:16, 17]”

Full Reflection:
We have fallen behind on our daily devotions and I have been suffering from seasonal syndrome. It’s tough when all your work is outside all year round and you get three days back to back of rain. On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday this week the rain came, but for some this is what they had been praying for, asking for and seeking for God to show up in as they needed water to fuel their dry crops.
Whether you love the rain, hate the rain or are ambivalent about it the weather can affect our emotions, feelings or mood. Recently I have been speaking to my coaching clients about how when we relate the description of our feelings or emotions in the context of the weather we can find our moods to be a little bit more accessible and less traumatic.
Try it with me. When you feel cold, frozen in your heart and unable to connect with people imagine snow, think about the number of inches and then rank your frozenness based upon the number of inches like a likert scale!
Perhaps your extremely angry, short tempered and venting think about a hot summers day and that you have to put the air conditioning on. What is the temperature outside. Are you sweltering? Is it a 90 degree New York City subway hot? Maybe a Texas 110 unbearable hot? Even a Sweet South Carolina deep sweat? Whether you are uncontrollably sweltering or desperately in need of some cold water you can perhaps name your emotions more easily in relationship to the weather. Instead of struggling, name the weather, relate to the weather and embrace the weather as you would on any given day.
If we can all get more of a handle on our emotions we might just be able to grow a deeper more intimate relationship with ourselves, with others and with our God. With Jesus all our emotions can be out in the open weather it’s raining or pouring, hot and unbearable or just plain cloudy….our God is ready, willing and receptive to your needs everyday! Hallelujah Jesus!
Prayer for today…
Father God thank you that you know my feelings, you understand my emotions and can help me get through the day by being open to talking to me, walking with me and helping me get through the days ahead in Jesus name. Amen
