Today’s word is Devotion!
Today’s move is Planking on Purpose!
Today’s verse is Isaiah 57:14-15!
“God says, “Rebuild the road! Clear away the rocks and stones so my people can return from captivity.” The high and lofty one who lives in eternity, the Holy One, says this: “I live in the high and holy place with those whose spirits are contrite and humble. I restore the crushed spirit of the humble and revive the courage of those with repentant hearts.”

Full Reflection: We have a perverse and broken world. Our social media feeds, news streams and newspapers sell us all the bad stuff! Yet, we can interrupt the narrative, the story and build our own perspective of Gods world! Yes, it maybe run by Satan, but its Creator, its Author and its Owner are coming back! Yes Jesus is coming back!
This Lent we can focus not just on the things we need to give up, to put down or to confess to God out of religious obligation and then to return to them as drunkard gluttons on Easter Sunday night. We need to be more intentionally aware of who we place at the front of our hearts and minds. One of those priorities is placing God as number one. That’s not putting our mobile phones as number one, our number of social media followers or number of people attending our most recent social gathering. It’s who God is, what he has done and who we focus our energy and attention on that matters most.
We must rebuke the ways of the world, switch on our Worship station and be prepared to Praise God lifting hands, hearts and expectations heavenward. When we leave behind our own expectations and place God in charge he always leads us to the better way, the best outcome and ultimate destination next to Jesus Hallelujah!
Prayer for us Today!
Father God thank you for today, for our opportunities to choose you, to focus our energy and attention on you. We ask Father God you would help our naked unbelief and help us to be more loyal, more aware and more submissive to you in Jesus name. Amen
