“Why are the nations so angry? Why do they waste their time with futile plans? The kings of the earth prepare for battle; the rulers plot together against the Lord and against his anointed one. “Let us break their chains,” they cry, “and free ourselves from slavery to God.” But the one who rules in heaven laughs. The Lord scoffs at them. Then in anger he rebukes them, terrifying them with his fierce fury. For the Lord declares, “I have placed my chosen king on the throne in Jerusalem, on my holy mountain.” The king proclaims the Lord’s decree: “The Lord said to me, ‘You are my son. Today I have become your Father. Only ask, and I will give you the nations as your inheritance, the whole earth as your possession. You will break them with an iron rod and smash them like clay pots.’” Now then, you kings, act wisely! Be warned, you rulers of the earth! Serve the Lord with reverent fear, and rejoice with trembling. Submit to God’s royal son, or he will become angry, and you will be destroyed in the midst of all your activities— for his anger flares up in an instant. But what joy for all who take refuge in him!”

Pastor Tim’s Reflection

What is your opinion on the importance of KIngdom Living? Do you live everyday without fear and in confidence of your eternal salvation? Jesus wants you to know you have been set free from slavery and bondage. He is ready, He is willing and He wants to help you come home.

Wherever you are in your journey of life. Jesus wants to meet you right now. He’s standing at the door and knocking to see if you will let him into your life. Jesus wants to get to know you, he wants to share his love for you and he wants to secure your place with him in eternity so that despite whatever life has thrown at you he is with you around the next corner.

Thank God today that Jesus is the cornerstone, that Jesus is the light of the world and that he can transform any of our circumstances into His favor. This world is not our home and no matter how far we fall from Grace. Jesus is ready, willing and available for you right now today to welcome you Home!

Closing Prayer

Lord Jesus, I confess my sins and ask for your forgiveness. Please come into my heart as my Lord and Savior. Take complete control of my life and help me to walk in Your footsteps daily by the power of the Holy Spirit. Thank you Lord for saving me and for answering my prayer. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

So it is good to wait quietly for salvation from the Lord.”
