Opening Prayer

Lord as we look upon the day we may be experiencing despair, indifference or success. When we are slowed down we seek you, but when we speed up we become isolated and without hope. Help us to be with you when we are just travelling a little bit more medium pace. Be with us at every pace, every turn and every endeavor in Jesus name. Amen

Psalm 80:3 Amp

“Restore us, O God; Cause Your face to shine on us [with favor and approval], and we will be saved.”

Reflection

At time we often demand prayer requests from God in the middle of our day, in the middle of our mess and in the middle of our circumstances, but we forget where we started, where we came from and how we landed in this situation or circumstance in the first place.

When we surrender to God it can take us to be in the worst position to get there because we spend so much time striving and delaying the inevitable need for forgiveness, confession and healing. Ultimately, we always end up needing to turn back to God.

“Restore us, O Lord God of hosts; Cause Your face to shine on us [in favor and approval], and we shall be saved.” Psalms‬ ‭80‬:‭3 ‭AMP‬‬

Today we can really easily stop the negative patterns and behaviors in our lives by restoring our relationship with God sooner. The earlier we get back to God the sooner we can begin to heal! Let’s not hesitate and let’s pray today!

Prayer

He said to them, “When you pray, say: “ ‘Father, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come. “Give us each day our daily bread.” Forgive us our sins, for we also forgive everyone who sins against us. And lead us not into temptation…..and deliver us from evil. For the Kingdom, the Power and the Glory are yours. In Jesus name. Amen.
