“But as for you, be clear-headed in every situation [stay calm and cool and steady], endure every hardship [without flinching], do the work of an evangelist, fulfill [the duties of] your ministry.”

“For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure [from this world] is at hand and I will soon go free. Reflection:
Today we face a constant battle against fulfilling Gods calling for our lives. Finances, family and friends can become even our most immediate and difficult distraction from the calling God has placed on our lives. Jesus teaches us that we have to pick up our Cross and follow Him.
“But Jesus said to him, “Follow Me [believing in Me as Master and Teacher],and allow the [spiritually] dead to bury their own dead.”
Matthew 8:22 AMP
Where can we find solace during a busy, chaotic and often consumer focused holiday season. We must remind ourselves of Jesus Christ, help our families and friends to see Him and fight the good fight of the faith this Thanksgiving and upcoming Christmas season.
“I tell you, even though he will not get up and give him anything just because he is his friend, yet because of his persistence and boldness he will get up and give him whatever he needs. “So I say to you, ask and keep on asking, and it will be given to you; seek and keep on seeking, and you will find; knock and keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. [Matt 7:7-11]”

Let us pursue our Savior Jesus Christ with a fresh revelation of His love, to seek to find his love in our own hearts and the very people we serve. You matter. We matter. God matters, cares and loves you today, yesterday and forever. Let us pursue Him for the hunger, thirst and righteousness of all humanity.
Prayer for us today…
Almighty God please be with us today. Help us to fix our eyes on you, to remain calm and not lose site of who you are. Help us focus our energy and attention on you O Lord in Jesus name. Amen
