1 Timothy 1:3 NLT Translation

“Without question, this is the great mystery of our faith: Christ was revealed in a human body and vindicated by the Spirit. He was seen by angels and announced to the nations. He was believed in throughout the world and taken to heaven in glory.”

Reflections:
The essential qualities of a soccer manager are constantly changing. We experienced another loss today and, as result of another defeat, the position of our manager is under threat. The factors that elect political officials, sports professionals or public leaders may not be the same as Priests or Pastors.
“A church leader must not be a new believer, because he might become proud, and the devil would cause him to fall.”
1 Timothy 3:6 NLT
When we first become believers of Jesus Christ we are on fire for God! We are ready to take on the world, overcome all addictions and seek clarity for everybody we know and love. We instantly become missionaries for Jesus Christ.
Similar to Paul and others who may have new found faith it may not always be possible that the world believes we are fit for the role of Pope or Archbishop just yet. Unfortunately, our faith, which is a journey, does not always offer us a guaranteed hall pass to the Presidency.
We must be patient, earn trust, learn how to pray, understand why we read certain books of the Bible differently to others and perhaps we must learn to translate ancient Hebrew, Greek and Aramaic. Instead, we want instant results, complete success and demand promotion immediately! Yet, any providential steps must be taken in line with Gods timing, Gods approval and remain within Gods plan and purpose for our lives. Praise God for his all knowing and all loving nature. Praise God that he is able to teach us, shape and mould us more into his character and character.
Let us Pray…
Father God thank you for new opportunity. Help us to not always plot our own plan in life, but to obedient to your Holy Spirit and follow your will and your ways for our life in Jesus name. Amen
